We need all the trustworthy, caring adults we can get to spare an hour of their week and pour into our kids.

The most successful way we have found to engage volunteers is to first have a meeting with our Program Director. She will work with you to find a place in our program for you to share your talent or passion, whatever that may be.

For example, we had a volunteer come in that is passionate about dance. We had a large group of girls that desperately needed a physical outlet but were not interested in the typical sports and classic P.E.-type activities. She now leads a weekly dance class for those girls.

Share your passion. Do you love music, anime, reading, robotics? Any interest you have, we can probably find a group of kids that would love to be involved.

Be a mentor.  Spend quality one-on-one time with a really cool kid.

Help with homework. Power Hour is our after school homework program. We can always use more help to answer questions or just simply read with our members.

Adopt a program. Take a look through our Programs and see if you can find “your thing”.

Questions regarding volunteering can be directed to our Program Development Director, Cheryl Streets, at cstreets@bgcbville.org. Please fill out the attached volunteer application. All regular volunteers will be subject to a background checks for the protection of our youth.
