Membership Fee $20
The Boys & Girls Club of Bartlesville is committed to safety as the #1 priority. As one part of that commitment, there will be a limit to the number of registrations we can accept to our 2020 Summer Program. The structure of the program will also change to accommodate as many of our members as we can while following health and safety guidelines. Please print the full application and complete for each individual member you are requesting a spot for in the program. Once completed, you can turn them into the Club in the following ways:
– At the Club building Monday – Friday between 9am-2pm
Staff will be curbside, please do not come in
– Scan completed application and send to email@example.com
Please use “Summer Application” as the subject
– Fax completed application to 918-336-2582
Payment (cash or check) and application must be brought in person to our location at 401 S Seminole.
The Boys & Girls Club of Bartlesville Summer program is available to all children ages 7 to 18. There are no income or geographic requirements to become a member. After school program members are assigned a membership number which is used to check in and out of the program.
Program Hours Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm for all members.
Members rotate by age group and gender throughout the facility between the gym, game rooms, art room, computer lab and learning center. In the Learning Center, our staff leads daily “Brain Gain” activities aimed at preventing Summer Learning Loss, a common issue for students. Members have access to our computer lab for summer learning loss prevention activities and general supervised recreation. Our healthy lifestyles staff leads programs to engage kids in at least one hour of physical activity in our gym or outside on the fields during their visit. Programs such as dance class, photography club, and others occur during regularly scheduled Club hours. Members are alerted via intercom to these “special” activities as they occur and have the opportunity to participate in those that interest them.
Having the kids for an extended period during the day means we have more time to take them out in the community. We try to provide a variety of optional off-campus activities for our youth to experience and learn new things during the summer. Most of these activities are free or very low cost (less than $5). Schedules may be picked up at the Boys & Girls Club the first day of program. Each age group will have at least one opportunity per week to walk to Frontier Pool with our staff.
Lunch and a mid-afternoon snack is provided thanks to the fantastic volunteers at East Bartlesville Christian Church.
Transportation is not provided to the Club during the Summer. It is provided to field trips.
Bartlesville Public Schools provides transportation to and from summer school for those kids who are participating. Contact BPS for more information.
